Degrees of Guilt by HS Chandler

Wow!! What a page turner. Great courtroom drama with twists and turns, very well-developed characters and good writing. Till the end I wasn’t sure what to think and then big shocker. I had goosebumps when I read some of the descriptions. Loved it. I will absolutely read more books by HS Chandler.

The Turn Of The Key by Ruth Ware

I knew that book by Ruth Ware will be good, but I didn’t suspect that it’s going to be sooo good. Creepy, fast pace, twisty and keeping me on the edge from the first to the last page. Hunted house, wired family and one nanny who tries to figure out what is happening around her. Just one day, fantastic read.

April wrap-up!!

21 books!!!! wow, how did I do that? I guess when you read something good pages turn by itself. My favorite were Cress and Scarlet from the Lunar Chronicles series, now I am finishing Winter, but it takes some time, book has 820 pages!! I really enjoyed Little Darlings, The Perfect Wife and Mine. All of them psychological thrillers with a lot of turns and twists. The Outsider was awesome but not surprise here, it is King after all. The Night Before was fast read too. I also read two books by John Marrs which were very interesting. The worst one from this long list of books unfortunately was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. After 3rdhusband it started to be all the same and boring, more money and more power, thank god the ending was good 🙂 Happy reading in May to all of you 🙂

March wrap up!!!

Good Morning guys. Today is the last day of the March so it’s time for March wrap up. For me it was very good month. 17 books! and to be honest I liked most of them. The worst one in this long list was unfortunately A Spark of Light. It was all about abortion in disgusting way :(. I didn’t like Class Mom neither. But thank god there was a lot of good books like What the Wind Knows or Thirteen 🙂 I also knocked down two classics: To Kill a Mockingbird and The Westing Games. Very interesting was The One, I read it in one day 🙂 Truth and Lies and The Secret Child are part of the series. I hope there will be soon book number 3 because this books really kept me on the edge. The Perfect Child was just perfect and The Stranger Diaries, Bear Town, Run Away, Cinder, The Dead Girl in 2A, Time Crawlers were all so good too. Wow I read a lot of great books 🙂

Time Crawlers by Varun Sayal

“There is no such thing as magic. It’s all science. The part of science that you don’t understand will always look like magic to you.”

I am pursuing engineering degree that’s why I picked this book to read. I always wonder how other people of science look at the universe and everything in it.

Book has a lot of interesting scientific theories grouped in six short stories. One was very funny, one was dark and gruesome. One was about some moral choices, one about time readers, one about alien and one about spaceship. I enjoyed all six of them 🙂
Author obviously has his own point of view on universe and parallel worlds which actually I seem to agree with.
